Our interpretation of a Swedish classic coffee break - coffee and cinnamon bun. The base is our dark milk chocolate where we carefully grind and add lightly roasted coffee beans and aromatic cinnamon to create a finely tuned harmony of flavors.
The coffee is roasted by our friends at Kafferäven in Gothenburg. It is grown by the Abakundakawa cooperative in Rwanda, which started in 1999. The cooperative supports single households and has mainly female members. Abakundakawa means "we who love coffee".
We source the cacao from Öko Caribe in the Dominican Republic.

Chocolate cake with sea salt - Dark chocolate 74%

Sea salt in dark chocolate. A classic combination. The salty and the sweet.
The sea salt comes from the small Danish island of Läsö in the Kattegatt Sea. Salt was mined there already in the Middle Ages. Læsø salt works according to age-old traditions where the salty groundwater from the Kattegatt is allowed to boil slowly over open fires. Every morning the salt is collected and left to dry in wicker baskets.
Here we have combined the salt with our dark chocolate (74%) made from cacao beans from Tanzania.

Bourbon Whiskey Dark Chocolate Cake 72%

The cacao beans have been aged in bourbon whiskey before we made the chocolate for this limited edition.
The taste of bourbon whiskey is embedded in the chocolate's natural notes of honey and orange.
We buy the cacao beans for the chocolate from the producer Semuliki Forest Cacao, who buys freshly harvested cocoa at a premium price from more than 1,000 farmers, most of whom are women.
