CHOCOLATE TASTING AT ÖSTERLEN

Take a journey into the world of chocolate and let your senses enjoy the taste, texture and aroma. We have chocolate tastings that you can do by yourself, with a friend or why not with the whole family when you come and visit our factory in Österlen.

For larger groups, we also have guided tastings where we book a date by arrangement.

For those of you who are unable to come to Österlen, we can recommend our chocolate tasting kit to make at home.

Own tasting with our popular chocolate tasting trays at the factory 69 SEK

Come to the factory and do your own chocolate tasting. On your own, with a friend or why not with the whole family. The concept is simple. You choose a chocolate tasting from the menu. You get a tray with selected chocolate pieces and a simple guide to the contents. Then you sit down at any place in the café to enjoy the chocolate journey in front of you. Maybe you want to try dark chocolate from different origins? Maybe you want to try pralines? There is something for all tastes. The tasting concept can be ordered during our opening hours.

Seats in the café cannot be reserved.

Chocolate tasting in private company: 45-50 min
Are you a larger group or a company that wants to book your own chocolate tasting with Fredrik or Ulrika? Email us at info(at)svenskakakao.se and state the date, time and number of people who wish to participate. We can accept bookings for dates that are a maximum of three months ahead.

Price: SEK 2,500 for 1-10 people. Thereafter 250 sek per added person.
Supplement: Coffee and two pralines after the tasting for SEK 50 per person.
Max 16 people per test. We do not have special prices for children, but the price applies per envelope.

Did you know that the cocoa variety, origin, fermentation and roasting are four of the most important foundations for each chocolate's unique flavor profile and character? Each original chocolate carries its own history that creates the basis for its distinctive character and makes the taste completely different from any other.

We take you on an exciting journey through different parts of the world to find out why a certain chocolate tastes the way it does. By using all your senses, you can take your chocolate experience to a whole new level and discover dimensions of taste that you never thought existed in chocolate.

The testing takes place in a separate room where it is also possible to look into Svenska Kakao's production premises. A perfect group activity, for the hen party, company party or why not the group of friends? If you want to extend the experience, you can add a cup of coffee and a couple of pralines after the tasting to hang out for a while longer.

The chocolate tasting takes place in our factory in Österlen and we promise you a taste experience beyond the ordinary. We want you to leave here with new knowledge about how chocolate is made, why it tastes the way it does and an insight into what separates chocolate from chocolate.
