Coffee and Cinnamon Bun - Milk Chocolate 52%

Our interpretation of a Swedish classic coffee break - coffee and cinnamon bun. The base is our dark milk chocolate where we carefully grind and add lightly roasted coffee beans and aromatic cinnamon to create a finely tuned harmony of flavors.
The coffee is roasted by our friends at Kafferäven in Gothenburg. It is grown by the Abakundakawa cooperative in Rwanda, which started in 1999. The cooperative supports single households and has mainly female members. Abakundakawa means "we who love coffee".
We source the cacao from Öko Caribe in the Dominican Republic.

Sea salt in dark chocolate. A classic combination. The salty and the sweet.
The sea salt comes from the small Danish island of Läsö in the Kattegatt Sea. Salt was mined there already in the Middle Ages. Læsø salt works according to age-old traditions where the salty groundwater from the Kattegatt is allowed to boil slowly over open fires. Every morning the salt is collected and left to dry in wicker baskets.
Here we have combined the salt with our dark chocolate (74%) made from cacao beans from Tanzania.

SVENSKA KAKAO - CRAFT CHOCOLATE MADE IN SWEDEN
We embark on expeditions to the origins of cacao in search of unique cocoa. We meet the growers under the cocoa trees and create long-term relationships with them. The sacks of beans then travel to our small factory in Österlen where we start our process with the cacao beans. Our aim is to bring out the natural and unique flavors of the cacao beans in the chocolate we make. Therefore, we add only minimal ingredients and roast the beans extremely lightly.
In a brick building dating back to 1893, we carefully roast and grind the cacao. The end result is a pure chocolate with a unique taste that is directly connected to its origin.
