VISIT THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
CAFÉ - SHOP - MANUFACTURING - CHOCOLATE TASTING
Our factory in Skåne-Tranås has been producing Swedish chocolate from bean to bar since 2013. The factory is located in an old village school building that dates back to 1893. Even today, we continue to manufacture all our products at this location, before shipping them to various destinations across the globe.

ÖSTERLENCHOKLAD
The chocolate factory, also known as Österlenchoklad, offers chocolate at factory prices and coffee at the café. It is open all year round.
During sunny summer days, the garden at the back becomes a popular spot to relax and enjoy the perfect Österlentempo. You might be lucky enough to get a cream bun or two, but they always sell out quickly. You could also try the brownie with pecan caramel topping paired with a cup of coffee roasted by some of the best coffee roasters in Sweden. Fresh bonbons are always available.
From the factory shop, you can see the production process through our production windows. You may even catch a glimpse of a chocolate maker creating something delicious on the spot. The aroma of the roasted cocoa beans spreads throughout the factory when they are being roasted.
Bear in mind that there are different phases in chocolate and praline production, as in all productions. The experience varies depending on the day and time of your visit. Some days, we roast cocoa beans, while other days we decorate pralines or pack chocolate products. Some days, we spend time cleaning and washing the dishes. On weekends, production is closed as chocolatiers also need some rest.
