ÖSTERLENCHOKLAD

At the chocolate factory - also known as Österlenchoklad - in Skåne-Tranås, which is open year-round, you can buy chocolate at factory prices and have a coffee in the café.

On sunny summer days, the back garden is a sought-after spot where you can unwind and find the right Österlen tempo.

From the factory shop you can also see the production through our production windows and if you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of a chocolate maker making something delicious at that very moment. When the cocoa beans are roasted, lovely aromas spread throughout the house.

Keep in mind that there are different phases in a chocolate and praline production, as in all productions. You see slightly different things depending on what day and what time you are here. Some days we roast cocoa beans, some days we decorate pralines and some days we pack chocolate products or maybe even clean and wash dishes. On weekends the production is closed as chocolatiers also need some rest.
