What is a cacao ceremony?
Cocoa ceremony is a ritual where participants prepare and drink a hot chocolate drink with intention, presence and respect. It is about creating a meditative and conscious atmosphere where you can go into a deeper inner journey. Ceremonial cacao has become popular as a form of self-discovery practice, where one can explore one's inner landscape, open the heart and strengthen the connection with oneself, nature and higher consciousnessCeremonial Cocoa is a special type of chocolate drink, made from sustainably grown, high quality cocoa. It differs from ordinary consumer cocoa through its traceability, quality and sustainable cultivation without pesticides. The cacao is carefully selected for its rich flavor and grown with respect for nature and the local ecosystem, making it a responsible and sustainable choice.
SUSTAINABLY GROWN

TRANSPARENCY

SINGLE ORIGIN
All cocoa comes from one origin
Worried about heavy metals in chocolate?
We make our chocolate from cocoa beans and we buy our cocoa from producers we know or have personally visited. Therefore, we can have full transparency throughout the entire process. Therefore, we can tell you where the cocoa comes from, how it has been grown and treated, all the way from the cocoa fruit to the finished chocolate product. This is extremely unusual in an industry where many do not want or cannot explain the origin of the cocoa in their chocolate.
It is very common for chocolate brands to buy a finished chocolate mass made by someone else, and therefore the information is usually scarce.
Try asking suppliers if they really made the chocolate they market in their own factory, if they know where the cocoa comes from, who grew it and how it is fermented and dried, for example, and you will soon notice that the answers are no longer so clear despite certifications and green labels.
Many also wonder about heavy metals in the cocoa we use. Precisely in the ceremonial chocolate, we use cocoa from the producer Kokoa Kamili in Tanzania . All their cocoa is continuously tested and they have no problems with heavy metals in their farms.
But the issue of heavy metals such as cadmium is an important and topical issue that often recurs. If you want to know more, we can recommend a program that our industry colleague, Greg D'Alesandre from Dandelion Chocolate participated in, where he dived deep into this exciting question: youtube.com/watch?v=W2YU101IM1s m
