A new classic on National Day?
Sweden's National Day is celebrated on June 6th every year to honor the day that Gustav Vasa was elected king in 1523 and thus founded the Swedish monarchy. It is a day when many Swedes gather to celebrate together and enjoy all that this day has to offer.
Part of the celebration may involve offering good food and drink, and one particular delicacy that would be perfect for the National Day celebration is strawberry shortcake flavored pralines. We manufacture these pralines here at our factory in Österlen in Skåne. We use locally grown strawberries from the nearby Eriksgården and combine with cream and vanilla. Just like in a classic strawberry cake. But our version is also suitable for those who cannot tolerate gluten.
They are perfect to enjoy on National Day with friends and family. A new classic, we would like to claim.
