We buy the beans from the producer Kokoa Kamili with their fermentation station in the small village of Mbingu, a twelve-hour journey on dusty dirt roads from Dar Es Salaam. We have collaborated with Kokoa Kamili since 2016.

What is fine chocolate?
Fine chocolate is rarely about percentages or packaging. Fine chocolate is made from the highest quality ingredients in an artisanal way from scratch, bean to bar. We make all our chocolate ourselves, which is unique. We buy our cocoa from producers and growers we know and have met. We can explain all the steps from the cocoa being a fruit on a tree to its transformation into a praline in a gift box at your home. We go the extra mile to ensure that the ingredients we use are ethically sourced, sustainably grown and produced, and are of a high quality and exceptionally good taste.
With us, you will never find ingredients such as sunflower lecithin or soy lecithin. Nor palm oil, preservatives or flavourings. Because we are doing something as unique as producing all the chocolate here in our factory, we can ensure that the ingredient list is minimal and the ingredients are of high quality. For us, this is genuine fine and real chocolate.
